The Mari Chair : Sedia 1

For a class in which the main objective was to learn how to use the programming software that uses JavaScript as its language for computation, we were given an assignment following the philosophies of the DIY/Craft movement. Allowed to make anything at all, with the intent to focus on the physical make up the object's the raw materialities and its construction.
I felt the instructions for the Sedia 1 chair circulated by Italian Designer, Enzo Mari, allowed me to put this philosophy into practice as his own philosophies for this chair's design followed the same ideas. Hoping for consumers to be as much a part of the production process, he provides a pamphlet with instruction for assembly and dimensions of the parts, but nothing else.
