AMERICAN TOURIST GOES TO HAWAII

Documentation of landscapes often foreign to those who occupy these spaces.
As a tourist, existing in a space that does not contribute to the make up of our identity, one may not create photos other than to note the exotic scenes of nature's landscape, but there is also information to learn from observing the landscape's inhabitants.
In an attempt to seek more than just visual pleasures of observing scenes of nature foreign to us, it is also insightful to study others that are existing in the space at the same time you are. Doing so provides opportunity to broaden one's understanding and empathy for the land and communities that do not exist to serve its visitors, but yet are still available for experience.
